DATIP B.V. ("we", "our", or "us") is a Dutch company based in the Netherlands. We provide Private AI solutions, consultancy services, and software engineering. 2. Data Controller and Processor Roles

DATIP B.V. acts as a Data Controller for website interactions, marketing, communication, account administration, and client relationship management.

For data processed inside your dedicated AI environment—whether self-hosted, DATIP-hosted, or on-premises—DATIP acts as a Data Processor. All processing follows instructions defined in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

For certain managed services (e.g., billing or system monitoring), we may act as a joint controller.

3. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact Information: Name, email, phone number, company details
  • Communication Data: Emails, messages, meeting notes
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser details, cookies
  • Usage Data: Website and platform interactions
  • Client / Project Data: Information shared during consultancy and implementation
  • AI Environment Data: Documents, chat logs, prompts, embeddings, configuration data

We never use client data to train public or shared AI models.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your AI environment may run self-hosted, on-premises, or in our EU-based hosting infrastructure. Data never leaves the EU unless contractually required and protected by appropriate safeguards.

Security Measures: Encryption, access control, isolation, monitoring, audits.

7. Data Retention

  • Contact inquiries: 1–2 years
  • Client data: Contract period + 7 years
  • Technical logs: 30–180 days
  • AI environment data: Defined in your DPA
